The Blue Angel stands for low-emission upholstered furniture. It is an indication that an item of furniture has a significantly lower environmental impact and poses a lower risk to health than comparable products without this environmental symbol – from its production through its entire service life through to recycling and disposal.

To ensure the continuous improvement of environmental protection in the corporate sphere, the Bavarian Environmental Package promotes specifically tailored and efficient strategies based on the initiative drive and experience of businesses. The primary focus is on the forward-looking prevention of future environmental pollution rather than its subsequent repair. The Environmental Package simultaneously provides impetus for new channels, new methods and new terms of reference aimed at securing sustainable development for Bavaria.

The Eco Management Audit Scheme EMAS is a voluntary commitment undertaken by our company to continuously reduce environmental impacts. The relevant measures undertaken are published in regular environmental declarations.

Behind this Seal of Quality issued by the Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e.V (German Association of Quality Furniture) are a series of quality and test requirements aimed at protecting health and the environment. The design, materials and demands made on environmentally responsible production are required to comply with the Association’s stringent standards.
