on this website (hereinafter the "Offer").

Data protection is based on the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG [German Data Protection Act]) and the Telemediengesetz (TMG [German Telemedia Act]).

ACCESS DATA / SERVER LOGFILES
The provider (or its webspace provider) collect data relation to each instance of access to the Offer (server logfiles). The access data include:

name of the website retrieved, file, date and time of retrieval, volume of data transmitted, report on successful retrieval, browser type and version, user operating system, referrer URL (website previously visited), IP address and provider making the inquiry.

The provider uses the report data only for statistical evaluations relating to the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the Offer. However, the provider reserves the right to examine the report data at a later date if specific indications give rise to a justified suspicion of unlawful use.

HANDLING PERSONAL DATA
Personal data refers to information using which a person can be identified, namely details that can be traced back to an individual person. This includes their name, email address or telephone number. However, data relating to preferences, hobbies, memberships or websites viewed would be seen as personal data.

The provider will only collect, use and pass on personal data provided this is permitted by law or the user approves such data collection.

MAKING CONTACT
When contact is made with the provider (for example using the contact form or via email), the user's details will be stored in order to process the inquiry and in case subsequent questions arise.

NEWSLETTER
Our Newsletter provides you with information about ourselves and our Offers.

If you wish to receive the Newsletter, you must give us a valid email address and also information to enable us to check that you are the owner of the email address supplied, or that its owner agrees to receive the Newsletter. No further data will be collected. The data will only be used to send the Newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

When you register for the Newsletter, we store your IP address and the data of your registration. This serves only as evidence, in case a third party misuses an email address and registers to receive the Newsletter without the knowledge of the email address owner.

You may revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address, and their use for transmission of the Newsletter, at any time. You can do so using a link in the Newsletters, in your profile or by using the contact information above.

INTEGRATION OF THIRD PARTY SERVICES AND CONTENT
It is possible that third party content such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites may be integrated within this online Offer. This always presupposes that the providers of such content (referred to hereinafter as "third party providers") can detect the user's IP address. Without the IP address, they cannot send the content to the browser of the user in question. The IP address is therefore required in order to display such content. We endeavour to only use content from providers who use the IP address solely to deliver such content. However, we have no control over potential use of the IP address by the third party providers, for example for statistical purposes. If we become aware of such use, we will tell users about it.

COOKIES

Cookies are tiny files that enable specific information about the device to be stored on the user's access device (PC, smartphone or the like). They are used to improve the user-friendliness of websites and to identify users (e.g. by storing login details). They are also used to record statistical data relating to website use and to enable such data to be analysed so that the Offer can be improved. Users may control the use of cookies. Most browsers offer an option that enables the storage of cookies to be restricted or prevented entirely. However, we would point out that without cookies, use of the website, and in particular its ease of use, will be restricted.

You can manage many online corporate advertisement cookies via the US websitehttp://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ .

USE OF FACEBOOK SOCIAL PLUGINS
This Offer uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are identifiable from one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs-up" sign) or include the words "Facebook social plugin". The list and appearance of the Facebook social plugins is published at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

If a user visits a website of this Offer, which contains such a plugin, their browser will establish a direct link with the Facebook servers. Facebook will transmit the content of the plugin direct to your browser, which will integrate it into the website. This means that the provider has no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects using the plugin, and can therefore only inform the user on the basis of the knowledge available to it:

By integrating the plugin, Facebook is informed when a user has retrieved the website containing the Offer. If the user is logged into Facebook, then Facebook can add the visit to the user's Facebook account. If users interact using the plugins, for example if they click on the Like button or add a Comment, their browser will transmit the information direct to Facebook, where it will be stored. If a user is not a Facebook member, it is still possible for Facebook to find out and store their IP address. According to Facebook, in Germany only an anonymised IP address is stored.

The purpose and scope of the data collected and their subsequent processing and use by Facebook, together with the rights and setting options designed to protect users' privacy, is published as part of the Facebook data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If a user is a member of Facebook, but does not want Facebook to collect data about them using the Offer and link it to their member data stored in Facebook, they must log out from Facebook before visiting the website.

THE GOOGLE+ "+1 BUTTON"

This Offer uses the "+1" button of the social network Google Plus, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google"). The button is recognisable from the "+1" sign on a white or coloured background.

If a user visits a website of this Offer, which contains such a button, their browser will establish a direct link with the Google servers. Google will transmit the content of the "+1" button direct to their browser, which will incorporate it into the website. This means that the provider has no influence over the scope of the data that Google collects using the button. According to Google, no personal data will be collected unless the button is clicked. Such data, which includes the IP address, will only be collected and processed if users are logged in.

The purpose and scope of the data collected and their subsequent processing and use by Google, together with the rights and setting options designed to protect users' privacy, is published as part of the Google data protection information relating to the "+1" button: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html and the FAQ: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/.

TWITTER
This Offer uses the buttons of the Twitter service. These buttons are provided by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are identifiable from words such as "Twitter" or "Follow" together with a stylised blue bird. The buttons allow a contribution or page of this Offer to be shared on Twitter or for the provider to be followed on Twitter.

If a user visits a website of this Offer, which contains such a button, their browser will establish a direct link with the Twitter servers. Twitter will transmit the content of the Twitter buttons direct to the user's browser. This means that the provider has no influence on the scope of the data that Twitter collects using the plugin, and can inform the user only on the basis of the knowledge available to it: As far as it is aware, when the button is used, only the IP address of the user and the URL of the website in question are transmitted, but are not used for any purpose other than to display the button. Further information is provided in the Twitter data protection statement at http://twitter.com/privacy.

REVOCATION, MODIFICATIONS, CORRECTIONS AND UPDATES
The user has the right to receive, free of charge, information about the personal data that is stored about them. The user is also entitled to correct inaccurate data, and to block and delete their personal data, provided this does not contravene any statutory archiving duty.
